Ogilvy Africa CEO: Never underestimate a black woman in the boardroom

Yes, very empowering. Unfortunately, we do have to work twice as hard just to get recognized. But it’s important for your work to do the talking for you, so that if anyone ever questions you due to your appearance, gender and/or ethnicity you always have you work to show what you are truly capable of.
